ASSEMBLY GUIDE

Set up without the headache.

Four steps. One hex wrench. About thirty minutes. That's the whole job.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Included hex wrench
Optional power drill
Helper (recommended)

01

Unbox

5 min

Open both boxes. Lay each piece flat on the floor. You'll find the frame rails, slat connectors, and a small hardware bag. Count the bolts — eight total.

Tip: Use a rug or soft surface to protect the powder coat finish.

02

Build the frame

15 min

Slide the side rails into the headboard and footboard brackets. Hand-tighten the bolts first — alignment is easier when everything can still move slightly.

Tip: One person holds, one person tightens. Faster and more accurate.

03

Lay the slats

5 min

Drop the slats into the notched connectors across the frame. No tools needed for this step. They click into place and are evenly spaced by the frame geometry.

Tip: Start from the center and work outward for even tension.

04

Final tighten & check

5 min

Go around each bolt with the included wrench and snug everything down. Press down on each corner — solid, no flex, no creak. Place your mattress on the slats.

Tip: A quick torque check every 6 months keeps things quiet forever.

Assembly FAQ

Do I need a box spring? +

No. UniPeak frames are designed to support your mattress directly on the steel slats. A box spring is not needed and not recommended.

What's in the box? +

Frame rails, headboard and footboard brackets, steel slats, center support beam, hardware bag with bolts, and an included hex wrench.

Can I assemble alone? +

Yes. Every piece weighs under 15 lbs and the frame is designed for solo assembly. A helper makes it faster but isn't required.

Does the frame creak? +

No. Reinforced joints and rubber-padded contact points eliminate squeaks and movement noise. A torque check every 6 months keeps it silent.
